Operations and Services
We at Triton Greentech firmly believe in providing the last mile connectivity to our customers and hence we not only manufacture Waste management machines and systems but we also provide trained manpower to operate our waste management sites. Over the years, we have championed human resource management in what has traditionally been an Unorganized Sector. Our waste management site supervisors, site co-ordinators and labours have been specifically trained in effective waste segregation, composting and bio methanisation techniques while taking all safety precautions at site. This ensures safe, effective and complete solid waste management solutions.
The First Step – Segregation at Source
The first step in managing waste at its source is waste segregation. Waste primarily can be segregated into organic or wet waste and dry waste.
Currently Municipalities spend approximately Rs.500 to Rs.1500 per ton on solid waste for collection, transportation, treatment and disposal, resulting in crores of rupees being spent annually. About 60-70% of this amount is spent on collection, 20-30% on transportation and less than 5% on final disposal Such a process is not only an extremely costly manner of handling waste, it is also adding tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere through associated transport emissions and landfill fires. The solution to this problem is treating the waste at its source.
Ideal Process for Solid Waste Management
The ideal solid waste management process starts by segregating waste at its source, subsequently the wet waste is treated at source and converted into useful compost or biogas depending on the end users preference. Dry waste is sent in smaller more fuel efficient transport to recyclers.
