Navi Mumbai municipal corporation converted a dumping ground into a beautiful green land park called Nisarg Udyan. This park is frequently visited by the local population, including children. Keeping in mind the objectives of the corporation, they decided to use the space near the entrance for educating the public about waste management. Triton Greentech was invited to suggest ideas, conceptualize a project, and implement it. We have created a permanent exhibition center on waste management at the entrance of Nisarg Udyan. Under the leadership of Dr. Poonam Hudar and Mr. Ramkrishna Hudar, an informative and creative exhibition is constructed. The theme of the exhibition is “I have created this demon of waste, and I can only kill it.” Through the images, objects, and displays, the exhibition makes visitors aware of what waste is, how it is generated, and how waste disposal shall be done. The information is scientific yet very easy to understand, even for a child as young as 7 years old. This exhibition is a timeline of school picnics over the last 5 years. This is one of its kind exhibition in India.
